A NEW SERIES OF PASTELS BY
JIM WAID
Cloudcroft is a village in the Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico and is where artist Jim Waid has a cabin retreat. The forest – mountainous and dense with pine trees – is a complete departure from the desert landscape that Jim usually captures. It is in this environment that Jim immersed himself in the final months of 2015 and created 4 stunning pastels, the first in a new series titled Cloudcroft. These unique works on paper are currently being exhibited for the first time, in an intimate space at Bentley Gallery. We invite you to come and experience them in person.

JIM WAID BOOK
Last Chair Media, a Phoenix publishing company, is producing a book about Jim Waid’s paintings, covering the past fifty years that he’s been a working artist. Each of the more than one-hundred paintings to be included in the book will have a full page color reproduction. Publication is scheduled for this coming fall.
The book is being funded by offering collectors a deluxe edition in a clam shell box with an original print (valued at $1,000) created especially for this project. There will be a limited edition of fifty of the deluxe books, priced at $1,500. The response has been tremendous so far — there are only twenty of these still available. Production begins in February. Please contact Bentley Gallery Director John Reyes at 480-946-6060 for information about securing your copy.
