Mathematics has long been a source of inspiration for artists, offering a framework to explore concepts of order, symmetry, and abstraction. This exhibition examines the connection between mathematics and contemporary art through the works of Mark Bennett, Peter Millett, Mark Pomilio, Jeremy Thomas, and Jan Maarten Voskuil. These artists draw on mathematical principles to investigate proportion, repetition, and spatial relationships to reveal their expressive potential. Together, these artists highlight how mathematics serves as both a tool and a conceptual foundation, with works that engage ideas of precision, complexity, and beauty. Their explorations underscore the timeless role of mathematics in shaping artistic innovation.

Please join us on Saturday, February 1 from 1-3 p.m. for the opening reception of this dynamic collection of math-based artworks.
